The purpose of the module is the “hot swap” of power supply units of a cassette-type battery system for uninterrupted operation of REP/REB systems, which are standardly installed on military vehicles. Additionally, the Module can be adapted for the needs of medical evacuation vehicles (Medevacs). The energy module was developed to order for manufacturers of mobile REB systems.
