Polydrone DadCat 5”

Carbon frame for FPV (First-Person View) quadcopter 5 inches for long-range and prolonged flights. The frame is designed and manufactured according to the DadCat (dead cat) aerodynamic scheme. This arrangement allows the front arms to be “moved back”, thanks to which the propellers of the front arms do not fall into the camera’s field of view. The enlarged “body” of the frame has more space for mounting additional equipment such as, for example: camera rotation mechanisms, additional radio communication elements, additional blocks for installing thermal cameras, video communication filters, amplifiers, converters, and other equipment. Also, the enlarged “body” of the frame allows the use of batteries of various form factors, as well as changing the centering of the copter for more energy-efficient flights with various payloads. The frame has a reinforced structure to reduce vibrations (body plate thickness 3mm, arm thickness 5mm).
