ComBat 4 Dismounted Soldier

ComBat 4 Dismounted Soldier is a modular distributed geospatial information platform designed for tactical level situational awareness. Built on NATO standards this system is compatible with most other similar systems ensuring seamless integration. The platform is a basic Android application that supports official and third party plugins to extend functionality. Users can quickly and conveniently input data about objects in space on a 3D map either manually or using technical reconnaissance tools such as UAVs NRKs video surveillance cameras and rangefinders. Data and location can be exchanged using standard low speed radio communication without internet access to coordinate joint actions. The system also visualizes received data as augmented reality over images from optical sensors enhancing real time information for the dismounted soldier.
