Automatic support unit (BAS-M)

BAS-M is designed for processing television (thermal imaging) video signals, provides capture and auto-tracking of a given object with a tracking window at the operator’s command, and generates a control signal proportional to the deviation of the object selected by the operator relative to the center of the raster. The module provides: – input, conversion to digital form and processing of television (thermal imaging) video signals; – determination of the selected observation object; – “capture” and auto-tracking of a given object with a tracking window at the operator’s command; – formation and mixing into the video signal of service signals “adjustment”, “indication marks” and other service information; – formation and output of synchronization signals; – reception and transmission via CAN interface of control commands and service information. Provides capture and auto-tracking of ammunition (shells, drones, missiles) at the operator’s command; processing of television (thermal imaging) video signals and mixing graphic and digital information into the video signal. BAS-M is designed for remotely controlled systems (complexes) providing auto-tracking of the warhead to the target according to the “fire and forget” principle.
