Wave channel (also known as a Yagi-Uda antenna), consisting of active and several passive vibrators located parallel to each other along the radiation line. The wave channel belongs to the class of traveling wave antennas. “Wave channel” antennas are widely used as receiving and transmitting antennas in wireless data transmission systems, in radio communications, in other communication systems, and in radar. Their widespread use is facilitated by high gain, good directivity, compactness, simplicity, and low weight. The antenna is used in frequency bands starting from short waves, in meter and decimeter wave bands, and at higher frequencies. The base and passive elements of the AHK_5_9_100 antenna are made of electrical aluminum, which allowed for low weight and structural strength, while the active element of the antenna is made of electrical copper, which resulted in high efficiency of electrical parameters. The antenna is powered by a flexible, heat-resistant feeder of a certain length to exclude changes in the electrical parameters of the antenna. The antenna has a quick-release mount that allows for quick installation and changes in radiation polarization.
