Matador
The “MATADOR” fire training simulator (mass-dimensional model) was created based on laser technology, taking into account the specifics of the single-shot anti-tank grenade launcher MATADOR, which is actively used in modern combat operations to destroy armored vehicles, fortifications, and enemy manpower. The simulator allows trainees to practice: – correct body and weapon position before firing; – aiming, considering target type and distance; – sequence of actions before firing (controlling the area behind, bringing to combat readiness, etc.); – launching a shot and subsequent movement (changing position, relocating). The UNITS software models realistic scenarios: – Static shooting at stationary targets, shelters, light armored vehicles; – Dynamic situations modeled by the instructor — appearance of moving targets; time limits; complex combat conditions (e.g., firing from indoors or shelters). The “MATADOR” simulator is an effective tool for individual anti-tank weapon training in urban environments or confined spaces, with an emphasis on quickly engaging targets and changing position after a shot.
