Video signal processing module MOV-5.019

Video signal processing module MOV-5.019 is designed for processing television (or thermal imaging) video signals in a technical vision system and issuing control signals proportional to the deviation of the object selected by the operator relative to the center of the raster. For information exchange, it uses the UART serial interface. The specific interface (RS232, RS422, etc.) and exchange protocol are agreed upon with the customer. MOV-5.019 is designed for remotely controlled systems (complexes) providing target acquisition for the combat part according to the “fire and forget” principle. The module provides: – input, conversion to digital form, and processing of television (thermal imaging) video signals; – determination of the deviation of the selected observation object relative to the center of the raster by centroid or correlation method; – capture and auto-tracking of a given object with a tracking window by operator command; – formation and mixing into the video signal of service signals “alignment”, “indication marks” and other service information; – formation and output of synchronization signals; reception and transmission of control commands and service information via the UART interface. MOV-5.019, which is installed on drones, missiles, complexes by operator command, provides auto-tracking of targets.
