Radio channel for UAV and NRK control TXRU2

The TXRU2 UAV control radio channel is an advanced two-way communication system that provides data transmission at a distance of up to 45 km with a maximum speed of up to 40 kbps in both directions, using the UART (LVTTL) interface. The system was originally developed to be as resistant as possible to enemy interference and is currently successfully used in defense force units. It is based on transmitters with GFSK modulation and a unique FHSS algorithm in a frequency band of over 230 MHz, which allows achieving frequency hopping speeds of up to 180 hops per second. Data transmission between the base and the subscriber occurs at different frequencies within the entire operating range. The control and telemetry system consists of two transceivers and a set of antennas: two antennas on the UAV and one on the ground control station (optional). Antennas with a circular radiation pattern are installed on the UAV, while the ground station supports various antenna options. The system’s software provides the ability to: -regulate the power of both transceivers in real time; -switch the radio link to radio silence mode and control the built-in antenna switch via two separate signal lines; -display the input signal level of the ground station and UAV receivers; -display information about the number of transmitted packets per second (in %); -change the video channel frequency manually or automatically to complicate its interception and jamming; -assign a unique line identifier for simultaneous use of several UAVs in one area with one ground station.
