Targets for such a device can be – long-range wireless communication links (Internet and local networks) using 802.11 technology, WiFi routers, connected computers, tablets, phones, drone control panels, video surveillance cameras, etc. The advantages of this device are: Significant target detection range, up to 10-15 km. Namely – while most EWs suppress the target with a powerful signal, this device uses the vulnerability of the WiFi protocol and sends fake disassociation commands to the enemy’s base station on behalf of trusted devices and a broadband address, which leads to the forced disconnection of devices from the WiFi base station and blocking their operation. This principle has a number of advantages: a) the possibility of selective suppression of selected targets, while most EWs jam all WiFi targets in the direction, including their own; b) low level of radiation, which complicates the detection of this device by the enemy; c) operating mode with short pulses and different from AP, which also complicates detection. Interception of traffic through AP to detect open data, such as logins, passwords, texts, or interception of all traffic for decoding. The device can be used to audit one’s own positions for “information hygiene”.
