We use cookies for the following purposes:
Essential Cookies
Required for the platform to function. These enable authentication, session management, and security protections. You cannot opt out of essential cookies while using the platform.
Functional Cookies
Improve your experience by remembering your preferences — such as saved search filters, RFQ drafts, Wallet display settings, and active Group Buy pool selections. These can be disabled but may affect usability.
Analytics Cookies
Collect anonymised data on how users navigate the platform — which supplier profiles are viewed, which search terms are used, and which modules are most active. This data feeds the Buyers Intent Feed (supplier-facing signals) and improves Sofiia AI matching quality. No individual user is identified.
Technical Cookies
Used by our hosting and delivery infrastructure (Vercel) to control page caching and CDN behaviour for dynamic content including Tender Board listings and Group Buy pools.

| _fa_analytics | Analytics | 12 months | Aggregate platform usage analytics. Helps us improve supplier matching, search relevance, and Buyers Intent Feed signals. No personally identifiable data is stored. |

4. Third-Party Cookies
We do not allow third-party advertising cookies. Faktorist is ad-free. Third-party services that may set cookies include:
- Vercel: Infrastructure and CDN cookies for performance
- Stripe: Payment processing (only on subscription checkout pages)
- YouTube: If a supplier embeds a YouTube video on their profile page, YouTube may set cookies per their privacy policy
5. Managing Cookies
You can control cookies in several ways:
- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies via their settings menu
- Consent banner: You can update your non-essential cookie preferences using the cookie banner shown on your first visit
- Account settings: Logged-in users can manage analytics preferences in Account Settings → Privacy
Note: Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in or using authenticated features (RFQ, Tender Board, Wallet, Group Buying, etc.).
6. GDPR Lawful Basis
We set essential cookies on the basis of legitimate interests (platform security and authentication). Functional and analytics cookies are set only with your explicit consent, collected via our cookie consent banner on first visit. You may withdraw consent at any time.
7. Updates to This Policy
We will update this policy when we introduce new features that use cookies (e.g. Escrow, Factoring, eCustoms). The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version.
