How to re-engage inactive referrals

Inactive referrals are missed opportunities. A little follow-up can turn a dormant signup into an active user — and earn you ongoing commissions.
Identify Inactive Referrals
- Go to Referrals → Referred Companies.
- Filter by Status: Inactive.
- Note how long ago they registered — recent signups are easier to re-engage.
Re-Engagement Strategies
- Personal check-in — send a brief message asking if they need help getting started.
- Share a guide — link them to relevant Getting Started articles in the Help Center.
- Highlight benefits — remind them of the welcome FTR bonus or Pro trial they received.
- Offer to help — volunteer to walk them through listing their first product or sending their first RFQ.
Timing
The best time to re-engage is within the first 7 days after registration. After 30 days, conversion rates drop significantly. Prioritize recent inactive referrals for the highest impact.
