Faktorist's CRM includes role-based permissions to ensure team members see only the data they need and managers retain full control.
CRM Roles
- Admin — Full access to all contacts, deals, settings, and reports. Can assign contacts, manage tags, merge duplicates, and configure notifications for the team.
- Manager — Can see all contacts across the team, reassign contacts, and view team performance reports. Cannot change CRM settings or delete contacts.
- Member — Sees only contacts assigned to them plus contacts they created. Can add notes, log activities, and manage their own reminders.
- Read-only — Can view contact cards and timelines but cannot edit, add notes, or perform actions.
Setting Roles
- Go to Settings → Team → Members.
- Click on a team member's name.
- In the CRM Role dropdown, select the appropriate role.
- Click Save.
Data Privacy
CRM permissions ensure that sensitive contact information and deal details are only visible to authorized team members. This is especially important for companies with multiple divisions or product lines.
