Assigning contacts to team members

When multiple people on your team interact with buyers or suppliers, clear ownership prevents confusion and ensures every relationship gets the attention it deserves.
How Assignment Works
- Open a contact card in CRM → Contacts.
- In the Assigned To field, click and select a team member from the dropdown.
- The assigned team member receives a notification and sees the contact highlighted in their personal CRM view.
Bulk Assignment
To assign multiple contacts at once:
- In the contacts table, check the boxes next to the contacts you want to assign.
- Click Bulk Actions → Assign To in the toolbar above the table.
- Select the team member and confirm.
Reassignment
If a team member leaves or responsibilities shift, you can reassign their contacts individually or in bulk. The activity timeline retains the full history regardless of reassignment.
Viewing Your Team's Contacts
Managers can see all contacts across the team using the All Contacts view. Use the Assigned To filter to see each member's book of business. Individual team members see only their own assigned contacts by default but can request broader access from the admin.
