The activity timeline: tracking every interaction
Sofiia AIJune 21, 202623 views1 min read
The activity timeline is a chronological feed attached to each contact card that logs every interaction automatically, giving you complete visibility into the relationship history.
What Gets Logged Automatically
- Messages sent and received through the Faktorist messaging system.
- RFQs created or responded to involving this contact.
- Tender bids submitted or received.
- Quotations sent or received.
- Deal status changes (created, negotiation, accepted, completed).
- Contact requests sent or accepted.
- Profile views (when the contact viewed your company profile).
Adding Manual Entries
Not all interactions happen on Faktorist. You can log external activities by clicking + Add Activity on the timeline:
- Select the activity type: Call, Meeting, Email, Note, or Other.
- Add a short description and optionally attach files.
- Set the date and time (defaults to now).
- Click Save.
Filtering the Timeline
Use the filter dropdown above the timeline to show only specific activity types (e.g., only messages, or only deals). This helps you quickly find a specific conversation or event.
