Adding a new contact manually

While Faktorist auto-creates contact records when you receive RFQs or messages, you can also add contacts manually for leads you discover outside the platform.
Steps
- Go to CRM → Contacts and click + New Contact in the top-right corner.
- Fill in the required fields: Full name, Company name, and Email.
- Add optional details: phone number, country, position/title, product categories of interest, and any notes.
- Assign the contact to a team member (or leave it unassigned).
- Click Save. The new contact appears in your contacts table immediately.
Tips
- Always enter the company name consistently — the CRM groups contacts by company for a unified company view.
- Add tags (e.g., "trade show lead", "high priority") to make filtering easier later.
- If you have the contact's Faktorist profile URL, paste it in the Faktorist Profile field to link the record to their on-platform activity.
