Linking contacts to deals and RFQs
Every deal, RFQ, and tender on Faktorist can be linked to one or more contacts in your CRM. This creates a full audit trail connecting the commercial activity to the people involved.
Automatic Linking
When you receive an RFQ or tender bid, Faktorist automatically links the activity to the sender's contact record. If the contact does not exist yet, a new record is created.
Manual Linking
For deals initiated outside the platform or involving multiple stakeholders:
- Open the deal or RFQ page.
- Click Link Contact in the sidebar.
- Search for the contact by name or email.
- Select the role: Primary contact, Decision maker, Technical contact, or Observer.
- Click Link.
Viewing Linked Activity
From the contact card, the Deals section shows all linked deals with their status and value. Click any deal to jump directly to its detail page.
From the deal page, the Contacts panel shows all linked people and their roles. This is especially useful for complex deals where you interact with buyers, procurement officers, and logistics coordinators.
