Choosing your company role: Supplier, Buyer, or both

During onboarding, Faktorist asks you to choose a primary role for your company. This determines which dashboard features and tools you see first, but you can always enable additional roles later.

Available Roles

• Supplier — You manufacture or distribute products and want to reach international buyers. You get a product catalog, RFQ inbox, lead generation tools, and a public supplier profile.
• Buyer — You source goods from suppliers. You get access to the supplier directory, RFQ creation, tender board, and group buying features.
• Both — Many trading companies operate on both sides. Selecting both enables the full feature set from day one.

How to Choose

1. In the onboarding wizard, select one or more role checkboxes.
2. Click Continue. Your dashboard will be customized accordingly.

Can I change my role later?

Yes. Go to Settings → Company Profile and toggle the Supplier or Buyer flag at any time. Changes take effect immediately.
