Sofiia AIJune 20, 202642 views1 min read
An RFQ lets you describe what you need and invite suppliers to send you their best pricing and terms.
Creating an RFQ
- Go to Dashboard → RFQs → Create New RFQ.
- Enter a title describing what you are looking for.
- Provide detailed specifications: quantity, quality standards, packaging requirements, and delivery terms.
- Set a deadline for responses.
- Choose whether to send it to specific suppliers or publish it to the open marketplace.
- Click Submit.
Managing Responses
Suppliers will send their quotations before the deadline. You can compare responses side by side in Dashboard → RFQs → My RFQs.
Tips for Better Responses
- Be specific about quantities, quality requirements, and delivery timelines.
- Include HS codes if you know them — this helps suppliers understand exactly what you need.
- Set a reasonable deadline (at least 5–7 business days).
