Faktorist distinguishes between your account email (used for login and notifications) and your public contact email (visible on your company profile).
Contact Email vs Account Email
- Account email — used for sign-in, password resets, and platform notifications. Only visible to you.
- Contact email — displayed on your public company profile for potential partners to reach you.
Setting Your Public Contact Info
- Go to Dashboard → Settings → Company Profile.
- Fill in the Contact Email, Phone, and Website fields.
- Click Save.
Privacy Tip
You do not have to use the same email for both. Many companies use a general inbox like [email protected] or [email protected] as their public contact email, while keeping the owner's personal email private.
