Setting your trade preferences: currencies, countries, and Incoterms

Setting your trade preferences saves time when creating RFQs, listing products, and communicating with trading partners.
Preferred Currency
- Go to Dashboard → Settings → Company Profile.
- Select your preferred currency from the dropdown (USD, EUR, UAH, GBP, etc.).
- This becomes the default currency shown on your product listings and RFQ forms.
Trade Countries
Add the countries you trade with to your profile. This helps Faktorist match you with relevant buyers or suppliers and improves your visibility in country-specific searches.
Operating Countries
If your company has offices or operations in multiple countries, list them under Operating Countries. This is separate from trade countries and reflects your physical presence.
Default Incoterms
Incoterms (EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP, etc.) define who is responsible for shipping and insurance. Set your preferred Incoterms so they auto-fill when you create RFQs or respond to buyer inquiries.
